Seems like a new south is pushing in. Some head-high out of the S-SE. Uncrowded because it's rainy and cold.

Post-session
There's something out of the west. Very pronounced angle and it's working. Would think certain southern spots oriented in the appropriate way would benefit from the direction and energy. But it's not big.

Didn't make it to Country (surprise!). Read the reports and opted to stay near home. Well, near home it's miserable. Definitely don't do it unless, for some reason, you just have to get in the water.

Not Bad--Could've Been Worse
In the Open I was eliminated in the first round. For the Senior, I finished 4th.
It was nice on the North Shore but packed everywhere. Sunny with straight offshore winds and about 2-3 feet with bigger sets.

Post-session
If you like people, then today's your day. There are a lot of people for you to meet out in the water. And take your bike because there's no parking. It's about head-high at the biggest.

No, Please
Just couldn't do it. It was rainy and cold outside, so it was a perfect day to be indoors. In the morning, visited with family next door (which is something I rarely do) to celebrate the new year. Then returned home to nap and relax.
