Anxious...
Means uneasy anticipation, not eagerness. There should be some good waves for today's event at Bowls--there were decent ones yesterday, and today's supposed to be bigger--but I'm not ready.
I should've been practicing all week; instead, I surfed lefts only Thursday and yesterday. My backhand needs much more work for me to feel comfortable and confident.
My heat is at 8:00 this morning. If it's like last year, I could be packing 15 minutes thereafter. I'm extremely nervous right now.
