What?
Hey you guys, I'm out. Will be on indefinite hiatus. There are some changes afoot for me, which are distracting my energies and focus right now.
Wanted to leave you with some uplifting and positive thoughts for your consideration:
1. Hawaii drivers are the worst in the nation. In general, my fellow local people are ignorant of even the most basic driving etiquette and traffic laws. And they have no concept of how to drive in a congested urban environment.
2. Please boycott the Star-Advertiser site. They run full-screen interstitial ads, even for subscribers. WTF!!! How f---ng rude. To me, that reeks of greed and a poor understanding of subscription dynamics. There are alternatives (e.g., www.hawaiinewsnow.com). So what if they need to enhance revenue? They can go bankrupt for all I care. Besides, who wants to read a detailed account of how Mrs. Furukawa's cat got stuck in a tree?
3. Cam 1 is malfunctioning. There are gray/black scan lines scrolling upward, and I'm quite sure the culprit is the CCD. I ordered a new unit, which should be here any day. I like serving up the cams because it gives all the idiots on the Interwebs (like you and me) something to do between watching porn and playing online poker.
After all, that's what I'm here for, right? To brighten your day?
