Drudgery
Doing some work around the apartment this morning. We're putting up tarps on the roof of the building as a temporary fix for the leaking-ceiling problem. We wanted to do it ASAP because it was supposed to rain again this weekend. (I know today is not ASAP, but we tried.) Also, we had to pull one of my air conditioner units for a minor issue that I won't go into because it's mundane. So, Sunday morning is my usual time to completely relax at the end of what is my normal work week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights), but instead I'm having to do this menial stuff that is a bit irritating.
Am feeling good about yesterday's results. Hoping that there are some waves at my usual spot this afternoon. It's hot and muggy outside, and I can't wait to get into the water.
