Wasting Time
Waiting. Sitting and vegging. It's my day off, but I can’t leave to go surf because I have to wait around for some phone calls about work. What a drag. I'm extremely antsy right now. Ready to kill some waves.

Small but with nice conditions. Un-crowded.
It is a glorious summer day. The water is warm, the sun is blazing, it's breezy, the water is smooth and visibility is excellent, and on the horizon to the east you can see the other islands. I had to pause and reflect on it all before I left for home.

Bigger than Queen's but dismal. It doesn't bode well for what we'll be competing for in Waikiki.
I might pass on my Senior heat. But if I do that, then I make it easier for the other guys. They should drop out and let me get into the finals and earn higher points.

Tardy (And Stupid)
Missed my first-round Open heat. They were in the water when I got there. Yes, and it's pretty much flat.
Now what? Since I have time to kill, gonna go surf and then head back to Queen's at 1:00.
