Slightly smaller but fun with better form.

Session Recap
Still some small-kine bombs coming in but very inconsistent. Fun if you can snag the right one, but overall slope-y and weak and sloppy.
I haven't been doing very well, of late, especially yesterday and today. Just can't get it in gear--always in the wrong place, falling off and making rookie mistakes.
I ordered my next new board. Same model and basic dimensions, but this time they will shave a tad off the rails to increase responsiveness. Sounds good to me.
My turn, my turn--me next--ME! (via Gizmodo).

Session Recap
Some surprising solid ones, but the tide is really ruining it. There was an hour lull that was absolutely painful.
I had an awful time because I couldn't make things happen. Kept falling off and just couldn't be in the right place for the life of me. The form and conditions were improving at the end of the session.

Session Recap
Perhaps slightly bigger. Did Bs+Ms with a few of the regulars who were disgruntled like me from the kook festival taking place at our usual spot. Nice, breezy summer day with warm water and small surf.

Session Recap
Well, no new energy. Don't know what it was I saw yesterday. Can say today is definitely wind swell mixed with fading groundswell. It was total crap.

Slightly bigger. Did Ms again. Tide was ruining it, but I had fun once I got the hang of it. Was getting some super-long rides.

Still Here
Hi everyone. Wow, sorry about the lack of posts. I've been super busy with my new job. So much paperwork and things to learn that when I'm at home using the computer it's all work and no play.
But I haven't given up any water time. Been surfing every day as usual. Nothing really to report. There was a run of several days where the A-framer was going off, but that's about it. Quite unremarkable and uneventful. At least it hasn't gone flat, and this is definitely one of the best summers in a while (IMHO).
Supposed to be a new swell this weekend. It was bigger today. Did Ms. It would've been good--and actually it was fun at times--but the high tide was simply killing it, making it difficult to stroke into because it was so-o slope-y.

Session Recap
Ms alone. Over-head remnants (or is it new energy?) but painfully inconsistent. Very west-y. Extreme high tide was ruining it.

Session Recap
Ms again. Crowded everywhere--even Ms, which is unusual.
It was small and weak, but there were a few outside sneakers. Nice conditions/form but very inconsistent. Kook City.

Session Recap
Did Ms alone. Had started at my usual place, but it was too crowded, so I paddled over.
There were some decent sets, but I had difficulty being in the right spot. Missed many good ones that were over-head and broke on the outside. In fact, though, I did snag some fun ones in the beginning, but I wasn't able to keep my bearings for the second-half of the session.

Session Recap
We wanted to try something different. Went out at Kahala, first off to the side of the hotel in the Koko Head-direction, then in front of the hotel, then in front of the park (is that Razors?).
The first place was too shallow and shutting down. The spot in front of the park was inconsistent but challenging enough to make it interesting and hold our attention for about an hour and a half. Short ride with a juicy takeoff and a fast-running wall to a small pile of rocks ending in a channel.
