Did the Right-hander because there were only two guys out. We had it to ourselves for about 45 minutes--I had one awesome ride that made my day, and I was completely satisfied after that--then six guys paddled out, and the three of us checked out.

Fun. Lighter winds but still somewhat sloppy. Our regular spot was packed, so we did the A-framer. There were some smallish bowls. I had three good rides.

Afterward, up by the car we could see that the wind had backed off significantly and the form had cleaned up. Now our regular spot was going off. It looked really good. We watched as long, lined-up walls broke all the way across. Darn it!

My usual spot wasn't surfable. The high tide and near-flat, lack of energy meant groveling on the extreme inside for barely knee-high mushburgers (which we witnessed 10, or so, others doing as we stood on the beach watching for 15 minutes).

So my friend and I did Bs then Bs+Ms. We stayed out a surprising 2.5 hours. We were tired. It had been a relaxing and unhurried session. Didn't catch much, but it was enjoyable nonetheless.
